• From San Jose:
• By Plane
• There are two local airlines that leave from San Jose and fly into Puerto Jimenez: Nature Air and Sansa. They leave from the Juan Santamaria Main Airport located by the city of Alajuela, 20km west of downtown San Jose. Flights to Puerto Jimenez are usually less than one hour, unless it has scheduled stops to pick up and drop off passengers.
• Nature Air allows each person checked luggage between 15lbs and 40lbs depending on which fare was purchased. If your luggage is over, just arrive early to pay the baggage fee at the airport. Sansa allows one piece of luggage 30lbs or under. Be sure to check the website of whichever airline you decide to take before you arrive.

• By Car
• From San Jose, get on the San Jose-Caldera highway towards Orotina. You will be on that road for 40 minutes before you pass the town of Oronita. Six kilometers after will be the Pozon-Caldera tollbooth. Take the next exit on the right onto Costanera Sur. You will pass through Jaco, Quepos, and Dominical. Continue driving south towards Chacarita. Along the way you will pass through Palmar Norte. Roughly 30km after, there will be Chacarita’s Gas Station on the right. Turn right at the station and follow the signs for Puerto Jimenez.

• Take the first left 4 km west out of Puerto Jimenez over the Rio Tigre Bridge where there will be signs for Dos Brazos, Parque Nacional Corcovado, and Casa Aire Libre/Casa Los Suenos. In 3 km you will be in the town of Gallardo and pass the Oasis bar. After Oasis, take the second left. There will be signs for Dos Brazos.
