CYPRUS VILLAGES was established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni and Kalavasos have been thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization. Tochni and Kalavasos villages lie halfway between Larnaka and Lemesos towns in the countryside and are centrally located and close to the sea (7km) an ideal spot for those who are planning a holiday that combines relaxation on the beach with day tours to explore the whole island. Tochni village guests are booked on b/b basis or h/b basis which is served at the local tavern and is within easy reach.
CYPRUS VILLAGES offers you a choice of studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with self-catering facilities in a well-equipped kitchenette, and central heating/air-conditioning and access to shared pool. Notice the thick walls, small windows, stone or wooden staircases so typical of our island’s architecture of yesteryear. On your veranda, in your patio or garden you can relax with a drink or a book any time of the day. A swimming pool with sun beds is always within easy reach and reserved for our guests.

• DIRECTIONS TO TOCHNI VILLAGE RECEPTION (for check in for Tochni, Kalavasos & Psematismenos villages) FROM
• LARNAKA AIRPORT
• As you leave the airport follow the signs to Limassol or Lemesos.
• Turn out on exit 14, sign posted “Chirokitia-Tochni-Psematismenos-Maroni-1000m”. As you leave the highway turn right at the junction, follow the road under the bridge until the next junction at which you turn right again. After passing the petrol station there is an archaeological site and there you must turn right direction Choirokitia-Layia and then immediately left where there is a small church and a sign to Tochni Village. Keep driving straight on until you see the sign for Cyprus Villages reception, park your car and leave your luggage in the car. Take the foot path towards Cyprus Villages reception and Tochni tavern.
• At the top of the foot path there is a parking area and near the fence there is a stair case leading to the tavern/pool area where you will see the Cyprus Villages reception sign. Walking down the stairs you will find our Tochni Tavern and CYPRUS VILLAGES reception. Here you will be met by our receptionist and after you check in will arrange for you and your luggage to be taken to your apartment. After office hours our reception is open according to your arrival flight time therefore it is important that you provide this information with your reservation.
