• The town of Hvar is located on the Island of Hvar. The Island of Hvar is situated opposite of the town of Split, so the fastest way is to take a daily ferry boat or catamarans from Split. Also ferries departing from others Croatians towns (Dubrovnik and Korcula). In summer there are weekly connections from some coastal Italian towns directly to Hvar (Ancona, Pescara and Bari).
• If you arrive by airplane (airport is between Split and Trogir), you will have to take a bus from airport to Split main bus station (it takes approx. half an hour driving, the price is around 30HRK). The main bus station and railway station are beside the Split Harbour.
