Bamboo Siargao, Siargao

• Getting to Bamboo Garden: Bamboo Garden is located in Pacifico, just past San Isidro, on the north eastern side of the island. Sayak Airport is 17 km (20 minutes) away and Dapa Ferry Terminal 35 km (40 minutes) away.
• We can arrange pick ups from both. If you are making your own way here, head north from Dapa and just before Del Carmen make a right turn (follow the signs for San Isidro) and when you reach San Isidro turn left. Follow the road for approx. 3km and you will see Bamboo Garden on your right.
• Getting to Siargao: There are a few options to get to the island, depending on when you are coming in from. If you are heading over from Manila you can fly with Cebu Pacific directly to Siargao, with a short stopover in Cebu.
• You can also fly into Surigao with Philippine Airlines and then from there take a ferry to Siargao. These only run until midday and cost around ₱200 – ₱300 per person.
• If you miss the ferry and still want to reach the island that day, then you can take a charter boat for ₱8,000 upwards per boat.
• In Surigao the port is a short (and cheap) tricycle ride away from the airport and if you end up missing the boats there are a few hotels close to the port where you can stay for the night.
• You can also take a slow ferry from Manila (or other locations) which usually works out to be cheaper than flying. Unfortunately this is currently not running to Surigao so you will need to take this to Butuan, which is slightly west of Surigao and make your way across from there. It will take around 2 hours to get to Surigao by bus or van and will cost around ₱150 and you will then need to take another ferry from Surigao to Siargao.
• The slow ferry also goes to Cebu, so you can take the ferry to there and then fly to Siargao, or if you really enjoy being on the sea, you can take another ferry to Surigao and then from there the ferry across to Siargao.
