Haurata High Country Retreat Reviews

Description

The main accommodation at Haurata is a very comfortable four bedroom holiday home set in the large park-like garden surroundings. The private rhododendron garden with deciduous, evergreen and organic fruit trees provides the ultimate place to relax.

The avenues of cherry trees, spiral garden ceremonial area and old woolshed are all yours to explore and enjoy exclusively as a guest of Haurata.

A narrow track leads from the garden into the native bush and beautiful rocky river. The river is a playground for the adventurous with rockslides, swimming holes and waterfalls. This is a truly magnificent experience for nature lovers.

Add to the luxury of your getaway by ordering delicious, wholesome gourmet meals, which will be cooked for you, on-site, using fresh produce from our garden and the local area.
