• From Panama city are about 367 km, approximately 5 or 6 hours.
• By bus from the bus terminal in Albrook there are two options:
• you can go direct to Sona or take a bus to Santiago and take another bus to Sona. In Sona, the last bus leaves at 16:00 hrs toward Santa Catalina. If you have lost the last bus, you can take a taxi to bring you direct to Santa Catalina, it costs approximately $40 (depending on the season).
• By car:
• you must take Interamerican Highway North to Santiago, Veraguas. Once you arrive at Santiago, you must venture to the center of town, heading toward the church, turn right behind it and on the next intersection turn to the left and take the road heading to Sona. When you are almost to Sona (don’t go into town), make a left right after the petrol station 'Delta' and follow the road to Santa Catalina. About 45 minutes later you will see a sign to the town of Carrizal, pass it and in 5 minutes you will find another sign to Santa Catalina, turn left. The last village before reaching Santa Catalina is the village of Hicaco. Keep driving straight to Santa Catalina.
• Once in Santa Catalina, pass the school and take the first road to your left and continue straight on the asphalt road until it comes to an end at Estero Beach.
• Oasis Surf Camp is located on the other side of the river, surrounded by palm trees; literally on Estero Beach in Santa Catalina.
