• From the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, take a cab (try to find Blue Bird taxi); tell the driver Jalan Salemba Tengah, which is located in the Salemba area across the School of Medicine of the University of Indonesia.
• The fare - based on meter - will cost about IDR100k-150k, with driving time of about 40-50 minutes. You will need to pay a surcharge to the cab driver; and toll-road tickets.
• If need to stick rigidly to a budget, there is bus service at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Take the DAMRI Bus, direction Gambir Train Stationl fare is IDR40k one way per passenger. It takes about 40-50 minutes from the airport to the Gambir Train Station, depending on the traffic.
• Then from the Station, take a cab (try to find Blue Bird taxi), and it will take approximately 15 minutes to Jalan Salemba Tengah; fare is about IDR25k-30k based on meter.
• There are also tuk-tuks (locally called bajaj); fare is about IDR25k (you should bargain). Tell the driver to go to Jalan Salemba Tengah, the street which is located across the Medicine School of the University of Indonesia.
• When entering Jalan (Street) Salemba Tengah, which is before 7-Eleven on a corner, check the house number 7 (seven) and it's not far from the main road.
• It is located on the left side, across Bank Mandiri ATM, and next to the Kodak e-Studio. There's a black gate and small, nice garden in front. Take the left path to the guest house.
