San Jose is a town in the province of Alemeria, in Andalusia, Spain. San Jose is a coastal and fishing village that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. San Jose is part of and located in the middle of Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park or the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, the second-largest coastal protected area in Andalusia. The area is characterized by its warm desert climate, a rocky mountainous area, and a pristine view of the sparkling water.

San Jose is a small town with a small population. Recently, the influx of tourists, visitors, and vacations has been steadily growing. Most of these tourists are attracted to the warm climate and pristine view of the sea. The beaches are shallow and some of the protruding rocky cliffs nearby provide great points for viewing.

Like the rest of Alemeria, Andalusia, and Southern Spain, the history of San Jose dates back to the thirtieth century BC, where remains and evidences of Neolithic life and culture were discovered. Throughout the history, San Jose has been conquered and settled by various people including the Iberian tribe of Tartessos, the Phoenicians, Romans, Visigoths, Muslims, Christians, Jews, and various kingdoms of Southern Spain.

San Jose does not have the bustle of a crowded city and vacation spot. Various beaches are just a walking distance away from the town city and from each other. Various resorts, restaurants, and bars line near the beach to provide refreshment and lodging for the guests. Various tours and activities are also permitted to explore the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata. San Jose hostels vary from high-class luxury to simple ones. All of the hostels in San Jose have a memorable view of the sea. San Jose hostels are everywhere and cater to visitors, tourists, and vacationers throughout the year.
