Hostel Terra Vista is a classic example of a place that wasn't built to be a hostel, but rather was forced into being one. It's basically a guesthouse that offers shared rooms to attract backpackers, and there are many of those in town. That being said, if all you need is a clean bed and a warm place for the night, this hostel gets the job done.
The Location
Hostel Terra Vista has one of the best locations in town, very close to the bus station; that is a big help if you have a large backpack, as it's mostly ups and downs around here. Göreme is a pretty compact town, so naturally everything is within walking distance, including the sunset point, the open-air museum, souvenir shops, and restaurants ... you name it, it's around.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms are very basic -- just regular twin beds in the dorms, with no bunk beds. There are also private rooms. There isn't too much space, but it seems most people don't get too comfortable or stay here too long. There are medium-sized lockers, so not all your stuff will fit inside them, but probably the important stuff will. The toilet and shower are combined and are en suite. They're clean and comfy enough. There is good hot water in the shower. They say that tap water is safe to drink around here, but the rooms are equipped with a kettle, just in case you fancy a cup of tea in bed (tea is not included). The rooms are pretty warm, as is the building.
Common Spaces
There isn't much space to socialize nor hang out, apart from the breakfast area, which tends to get pretty crowded during breakfast hours. On the bright side, a complimentary breakfast is included! You can even choose among a few choices, such as Turkish breakfast and toast. Tea and coffee are available during breakfast but not all day. The hostel offers a laundry service and assists with booking tours, attractions, and transportation for your convenience. There is also a cool rooftop terrace, with a pretty good view of the town. Also, the Wi-Fi works pretty well.
Summary
What can we say? This hostel is cheap and in a good location and the staff are friendly, but somehow something is missing (probably the cool, social, hostel vibe). But if you're here to relax quietly or just passing through, you're probably going to like this place.

It s a few minutes walk from goreme bus station. There are stairs near metro bus company office so you just go down from there and then after bridge walk straight until fron of La Vida Restaurant and then turn left. We are on the right side !
