Welcome to Rancho Santana!
We are a Swiss-Peruvian family and we are offering to our guests a nice, comfortable and rustic bungalow made out of mud bricks like the Moche Culture did make their houses long time ago. We are in the countyside of Chiclayo close to the Pyramids of Tucume and worlds biggest dry forest "el Santuario Historico Bosque de Pomac with his temples of Lord of Sican (Batangrande)
The Bungalow gots a big room with a doble bed and a bunkbed and a bathroom with hot shower. There is a garden with hammocks to relax and do birdwatching. You are able to use our kitchen to prepare your own meals or we can prepare it for you. We have lots of fruit trees on our Rancho. Fresh milk from the cows, homemade cheese and joghurt.
We are also offering camping.
On our typical Peruvian Pasohorses you are able to visit all the archeolocical sites nearby like the bosque de Pomac (Batangrande), Pyramids of Tucume, Huaca Bandera (last Moche temple) and Jotorro (little lost Inca city) Our horses are very smooth to ride and make even the most inexperiended rider feel comfortable.
Very close to the Ranch there is the biggest Pool of North of Peru (www.laspirkas.com)where you can go swim and relax. It is 5 minutes by bus or collectiv taxi from the Ranch.

• We are in the countryside of the town of Chiclayo (40 km north) Near the pyramids of Tucume, world biggest dryforest (Pomac forest) with its temples of Lord of Sican (Batangrande), beach of Pimentel, Museum Tumbes Reales of Lord of Sipan in Lambayeque.
• Our Address is Rancho Santana in Pacora
• From the center of Chiclayo take a taxi to the Terminal of Pacora. Every taxidriver knows that terminal. Don't pay more than 3 Soles. From the terminal a small bus is leaving to the village of Pacora. The bus gots a sign "Pacora" at the front window. It takes 1 hour to get to Pacora and costs 3 Soles. When you are in Pacora you can call us on 97 971 21 45 to pick you up or you can take a mototaxi to the Ranch (2 Soles). We are only 300 meters behind the catedrale of Pacora.
