Description

The Hostal CasaQuevedo is located in the neighborhood of La Candelaria, in the historical center of Bogota. The Hostel offers numerous services at an exceptional price. There is mini bar, wi fi and free access to computers, a small kitchen for shared use and currency exchange.

We offer rooms with Hostel style, multiple beds as well as Private rooms with shared bathrooms. Attractive decoration in a colonial style to suit the architecture of this restored building.

Located in front of the Plazoleta del Chorro de Quevedo, where the city of Bogota was founded in 1538, where numerous cafes and restaurants are located. The square offers a colonial and bohemian atmosphere where you can find crafts and artist presentation. Also it is a zone of many historical, art and cultural museums, theaters and monuments.

Within a five minute picturesque stroll you can visit the impressive collection of Botero, The Military Museum of Colombia; The Numismatist Museum, Museo del Oro, Fine Art and Colonial Art Museums and The Quinta de Bolívar Museum. Also is a University Zone with some of the most prestigious Universities in Latin America. Located at the Mountain base of the beautiful Monserrate Sanctuary.

To get from the international airport El Dorado, to the property, the traveler counts with a safe taxi cab system for tourist, the approximate time that it will take to arrive from the airport to the property is of twenty minutes with a fee of approximate us$ 12.50, telling the cab driver that the property is located at the Plazoleta del Chorro de Quevedo. There is also a wide bus system with a trip time of approximate 45 minutes, the bus must say (Germania Calle 19), if the traveler chooses to take this option, he most get to the last stop of the rout, that is, nineteenth avenue and third street, then the traveler has to walk seven blocks south having as a point of reference the Plazoleta del Chorro de Quevedo , which is a well know plaza in the area, the bus fee is of us$ 0.75 cents. In case the traveler is located in any of the cities from our country and is traveling by bus, he´ll arrive to the Bogota bus terminal, in that case he could use the options described previously, with a difference in the fee, if the traveler decides to use the taxi cab service.
