• We are located just out of Rome downtown in the village of Zagarolo belonging to the famous south district of the Metropolitan City Area of Rome (so-called 'Colli Romani' or roman hills). Our location represents a strategic gateway to Rome & nearby, you can reach easily both by public or private transports. Train is the best choice to get to us on arrival day and to visit Rome downtown (just 25/30 minutes ride, dozens of trains available all day).

• If you are traveling on the road the nearest EXITS on the HIGHWAYS they are: SAN CESAREO EXIT on A1-HIGHWAY “AUTOSTRADA DEL SOLE†Roma-Napoli (8 km) and TIVOLI EXIT on A-24 HIGHWAY “AUTOSTRADA DEI PARCHI†Roma-L’Aquila-Teramo (14 km). Than just follow directions to Zagarolo and WIKI hostel FAMILY.
• The TRAIN is the best way to get to us from, just 25/30 minutes from Rome downtown: from ROMA TERMINI Train Station to ZAGAROLO (your stop). ZAGAROLO TRAIN STATION is located at less than 1 mile from the hostel, we are a easily reachable in a short walk during your stay and on your arrival and departure day we provide the plus of a free ride so to help with your backpacks and luggages (do not forget to contact us before your arrival in order to confirm the pick-up ;)

• If you arrive at ROMA TIBURTINA TRAIN STATION AND BUS TERMINAL get first to ROMA TERMINI TRAIN STATION taking the SUBWAY “METRO†(BLU Line, Direction “LAURENTINAâ€, Roma Termini is the 4th Stop, 1,50 EUR ticket called “BIT†available at the ticket selling machines).
• If you arrive at FIUMICINO “LEONARDO DA VINCI†AIRPORT (FCO) get first to Roma Termini taking from the Airport indoor train station the LEONARDO EXPRESS non-stop fast train available every 15 minutes (32 minutes; 14 EUR) or the Shuttle-BUS (e.g.Terravision/Bus-Shuttle). We suggest to buy a unique ticket from FIUMICINO AEROPORTO to ZAGAROLO on trenitalia.com web site or app (2 trains; 1 ticket; 16 EUR total cost).
• If you arrive at CIAMPINO “G.B. PASTINE†AIRPORT (CIA) get first to CIAMPINO TRAIN STATION taking the CIAMPINO AIRLINK SHUTTLE BUS for “Ciampino Stazione†(12 minutes ride) and than take the first train stopping in Zagarolo (13/20 minutes ride; train name CASSINO or FROSINONE). We suggest to buy a unique ticket from CIAMPINO AEROPORTO to ZAGAROLO on trenitalia.com web site or app (airlink bus + train; 3.30 EUR total cost). Last train ride from Ciampino train station at 10.41 PM (Airlink Bus connection departures at 10.10 PM from Ciampino Airport).
• Arriving by public transport after 8 PM? Schedule in advance your arrival!
• Attention please the last train from ROMA TERMINI TRAIN STATION leaves at 10.28 PM (9.30 PM is the departure time for the last useful train connection from FIUMICINO AIRPORT). The last train from CIAMPINO TRAIN STATION leaves at 10.41 PM (10.10 PM is the departure time for the last useful AIRLINK BUS connection from CIAMPINO AIRPORT).
