Busselton backpackers hostel is an independent hostel. It is a small and cosy hostel comprising of 2 double rooms, a triple room, and three dorms which can sleep from 4 to 7 guests and an external caravan which can sleep up to 3 people. There is a communal kitchen and tv room, coffee and tea is complimentary for guests, an undercover bbq area in back with a wood fired bbq, three fridge freezers to store food and drink. Activities organised through the hostel include scuba diving, fishing charters, fourwheel drive beach tours,whale watching, crabbing, paintball, bbq breakfast, seafood bbq dinner and much more. We also provide casual labour to the vineyards for those with working visas. Seasonal work is quite popular with backpackers and we can easily find picking and pruning work.
The hostel is small and cosy, the atmosphere is very homely, you can walk to the shops in 5 mins and walk to the famous 2km long Busselton Jetty in 10 minutes. By November 2003 the Underwater Observatory at the end of the jetty should be operational. The observatory will enable the underwater life at the jetty to be viewed from several platforms that go down to about 10 metres.
