Easy going and casual place with lots of space for guests to relax. Located on large space with spacey rooms. Cool sea breeze with great views. Guests are not hassled with too many rules and signs. The restaurant has been upgraded with world class meals and well stocked bar. We listen and make it happen for our guests. Friday night entertainments are a hit with performance by South pacific dance and fire performances. Swimming pool, TV room, book exchange, tour desk, laundry service, room service are some of the features. The oldest and most established of all hostels in the country and return guests are the norm. atmosphere is always great with the friendliest staffs.

Good value for money and friendly and informative staff I came and saw that the place was looking a bit tired but upon staying longer I got to like it as being 20 or so years old they have kept the culture going quite well. Met the new manager and she seemed to know how to get this place forward with more better choices for the guests. She has the guests interest first. The staff are definitely friendly and very informative. Food was great with reasonablly good value for the excellent quality. The bar has good range of drinks and they mix great cocktails. Probably the best location on that stretch of the beach. Had a wonderful and no hassle stay, would reccommend to anyone. — Susanna, Austria (2007-08-08) This is a lovely hostel, with excellant staff, they are very friendly, and welcoming.
