The nearby villages of Dunkineely, Bruckless and St Johns Point host a wealth of historical and cultural gems. Feel the age, magic and wonder... the rich druidic civilization of this truly beautiful land. The history of the area can be traced back some 5000 years, evidence of which is to be found in the castle and friary ruins, wedgetombs and ring forts located nearby. This place is a must for sea anglers too, with many rivers and lakes practically on the doorstep, and less than an hour's drive will take you to Letterkenny, Glenveigh National Park, Enniskillen, Sligo.

• HOW TO GET HERE:-
• From Donegal Town take N56 (Killybegs Rd), travel 14km to Dunkineely, a further 2km leaves you at Bruckless. Follow red/white (Gallaghers) signposts to Hostel/Campsite or ask at STATOIL Service Station at Bruckless.
