• How to arrive
• In order to prepare for your arrival, we have attached a map showing where our retreat is located in relation to the town, and a directional map to guide you to our parking lot and private pier in Portobelo.
• To get to Portobelo from Panama City: Take the Northern Tollway (Corridor Norte) towards Colon. After approximately 40 km, pay the fee at the final tollbooth. Then, continue another 13 kilometers and take the Sabanitas exit. After taking the Sabanitas exit, continue in the left lane, following the signs for Colon. Continue following the signs to Colon, and drive past the McDonald's restaurant (on the left-hand side). Shortly thereafter, you will see a large sign for the REY Supermercado. The Rey Supermercado marks the turnoff for Portobelo, and it is approximately 4 kilometers after exiting the Northern Tollway (Corridor Norte). Take a right at the REY Supermercado, heading in the direction of Portobelo. Continue straight, heading east towards Portobelo for the next 33 km, with the sea on your left, for about 40 minutes. You will pass several villages on the way to Portobelo. It is effective to contact us to tell us you are coming close to Portobelo. Upon passing Maria Chiquita telephone us at +507 202-0111 (main number) or 507- 6672-6620 (Lourde´s phone number) to coordinate your arrival.
