"I stayed at this hostel in January 2004 with my wife and seven-year-old daughter. Simply stated, it is the best hostel we have ever stayed at, and we've stayed at a few! It has zero industrial feel. I felt as though I were a guest staying in a close friend's spare room. It's probably not great for partying—but neither is the town. Interlaken is better, and it's only a short ride away. "Absolutely beautiful any time of the year. - I was in Europe for three weeks (Paris, Germany, Prague) and I fell in love with this place. We stayed in late December when there was lots of snow on the ground. We actually stayed in the hostel and it is extremely clean and warm. Such a cute and quaint place!
