The price is right ... The location was convenient for getting around Hobart, but good luck finding parking. I was staying on a Saturday, and was finally able to move my car nearby after 8pm on Saturday and could leave it until Sunday without charge. During the week I'd have been parking quite a ways away to avoid the parking costs. It is right across the street from Woolworth's, which was much appreciated. Free Wi-Fi was also a bonus. The final perk I noticed was probably the small space heater in the room, as it was quite chilly at night even with that many people in a small room. Other than that ... It was fairly loud, the beds were sagging, very crowded (and did I already mention quite loud?), and the bathrooms were not clean. Common area cleanliness in general left something to be desired. Outlets very limited in the dorms. One girl brought a power strip and that was the only way anyone could charge. I didn't have any problems with security, but I certainly wouldn't leave anything valuable about. Locks to the dorms were very flimsy and frequently left open by other guests. — Katie, age 23, USA (2013-05-03)

Thank you Good atmosphere and accommodation! Staff were friendly, good and helpful. Bed, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and adequately maintained. Location very close to everything. Thanks again. — Philip, Australia (2013-02-10)
