Opened since April 2005, the LLH was the first Hostel in Lisbon. We have changed location in March 2007, and now we are situated in Rua de Sao Nicolau 41st, Lisbon's downtown - Baixa -

LLH is now located in the most historical area of Lisbon. You will find pedestrian streets full of monuments, restaurants, cafes, esplanades, shops, supermarkets, tourism info spot and so much more...
Also close to the main transport system (bus, tram and subway), the best night life area - Bairro Alto - and the train station who takes you to the nearest beaches – Estoril and Cascais!
The LLH as 9 rooms available (from twin beds with satelite Tv to 8 beds room), 6 bath rooms, a kitchen full equipped for all guests, 3 lounge areas where you can relax, have a drink, listen music, watch a film projection, read books and magazines, play games or just chat with the other guests, use the free WiFi internet, personal lockers in the rooms, free maps, touristic info and guides, laundry service, mini bar plus free coffee and tea all day.
The breakfast is free!
Our reception is open 24 hours per day.

Good vibe I saw the location and the commons area, and the place has a good vibe, and central location near tourist sights and transport. — TexasDoug, USA (2007-11-29) this is the best hostel in the world. nothing could beat it, it is everything a hostel should be. great social atmosphere with beautiful comfy furniture and amazing music, but still relaxed enough that you can always choose to get to sleep. gorgeous, huge, fully stocked kitchen. really friendly, young staff. they throw dinner parties a couple times a week and for like 6 euros you get a great home-cooked meal and lots of wine. the breakfast is also excellent. and the location is great, very central and close to the metro. seriously, i adored this place. — danny, canada (2007-05-18) Really, really a great Hostel to stay at Lisbon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not much in terms of outside signage so make sure you know the address because you will miss it, especially if coming at night. Don't worry about the hill climb from the base hostel up to it because it is worth it. You get your own kitchen for only seven people which means that you are never waiting for use of a stove or anything. The bathroom is clean and water hot. The decoration is great, very modern and Ikea ingenuity. It is in the Bairro alto area, two minutes walk from the coolest bars and night life. Because you are already living up on the hill there is less overall hill climbing. There is free tea and coffee and internet at the base hostel and it is run by young Lisbon people. Os quartos são muito bons, com luz de cabeceira e uma pia. Localizado na parte velha da cidade, é fácil andar até as estações de metro e trem, para ir às praias e outras cidades. Também está próximo de ruas de comércio vibrante, que inclui um shopping center, artistas de rua e restaurantes/cafés com charme típico de Portugal. Também é possível ir a pé até os principais pontos turísticos da cidade. É um excelente lugar para conhecer outros viajantes. Eu me senti em casa neste hostel, principalmente pela atenção que a Andreia, Katia e Sonia me deram. São realmente pessoas apaixonantes. Fique por pelo menos 3 dias, para visitar os principais pontos de Lisboa e proximidades. Em um sábado pela manhã, gastei 12 euros para ir do hostel ao aeroporto. — Ivan K.
