As a small, family-owned business with only 24 beds, Hostel Obispo does not have staff on the premises during the day. Consequently, guests must be out of the hostel between the hours of 10 am and 4:30 pm. If you have a private room, you might be able to arrange access to your room in the afternoon by checking with the front desk staff. No check-ins after 10 pm, but once you have checked in, you may go out and return to the hostel as you wish with a code to the combination lock on the back door.
Our cozy lounge is equipped with two guitars, a piano, drums, and a tambourine. Music, anyone? In the winter, you can keep warm with hot chocolate in front of the fireplace, and in the summer you can relax outdoors on one of our three patios.
Home-made sourdough pancakes and organic coffee are served from 8 to 9:30 am (donations accepted).
Guests must have proof of residency outside San Luis Obispo county.
