'Located in the heart of Halkidiki, between magnificent beaches and olive groves, 'Τhe White Rabbit' is a brand new guesthouse aiming to provide budget, but quality accommodation for travellers, backpackers and the occasional passer-by.
Our guesthouse is just like us, the 5 friends who staff and started this project in the spring of 2013. It reflects our diverse personalities because we put it together ourselves, having as top priority to create an environment our guest will enjoy.
So let's face it, as long as the sun is still up all you need is sea, but when it goes down, the White Rabbit is the place to be.'
By car it is about 80km distance from Thessaloniki to the White Rabbit. You need to get on the National Road to Moudania (Ethniki odos Thessalonikis-Moudanion) and take the exit for Sithonia after about 50 km. After that, follow the road for about 27km until you see a sign post asking you to turn left to Ormylia. That place is Strofi Ormylias (Ormylia exit). Turn left to Ormylia and after 15 meters take another sharp left. The White-Rabbit is on the next 50 meters. If you have a GPS our coordinates are +40° 15' 46.71", +23° 30' 54.90". Alternatively, get directions at Google Maps for the trip from Thessaloniki (or wherever you are) to Nea Sermili Chalkidiki. The map will pinpoint you about 200 meters from our property.
The cheapest way to reach the White Rabbit is by bus from Halkidiki Bus Station which is right outside the eastern part of Thessaloniki. City buses run to Halkidiki Bus Station (KTEL Halkidiki) from all parts of Thessaloniki. Specifically, from the airport you need to take bus no. 79A whose final stop is KTEL Halkdikis (about 40 minutes ride). From the train station (OSE) take bus no. 2 until Voulgari stop and then take bus 36 to KTEL Halkidiki (about an hour ride), from Macedonia Central Bus Station there is a direct bus line, bus no 45, which you can also take from Kamarastop. You can find city bus tickets at all kiosks at 0.80E a single route and 0.90E a double route. There are also ticket machines in every bus, but they are 0.10 more expensive than pre-printed ones.
There are gonna be some other ways of transportations during the summer, such as a mini bus so if you'd like to join mail as at info@whiterabbit.gr
