THE HOSTEL

Finn Farm Hostel and Gallagher's Equestrian Centre have combined facilities to make a most unique environment. Only recently completed, all of our facilities are new making your stay comfortable and a home from home.

Our Hostel facilities include two separate sleeping quarters giving the ladies and Gents their privacy. The Gents dorm is spacious and bright. The Ladies dorm is very private with its own electric shower and loo. The shower rooms and toilets have ample space and are separated for male and female privacy. There is a communal space with basic kitchen facilities, a huge dining table, sofa and chairs and a log fire to warm yourself by in the evenings.

The indoor arena is literally adjoining the hostel facilities giving the residents a ring side seat and glazed view of the equine activities. It is used regularly used during the day and horse riding lessons can be arranged prior or during your stay. For details please visit

THE APARTMENTS

There are several apartments on the Farm. All but one was completed in 2008 and contains kitchenette/kitchen depending on the apartment size, along with shower room and toilet. There is a double bedroom with options for singles, couples or shares up to four people and a cozy living area. All of the apartments are decorated in neutral colours with attention paid to simple utility to make your stay a home away from home. The old stable block apartment is charmingly rustic with its own potbelly stove, Kitchen, Bathroom and toilet, living room and double bedroom.

The new flats are located in the East and West Wing of the main house. Finn Farm house is situated on a hillside with views over the paddocks, cottages and stables and the Finn Valley itself.

Gallagher's Equestrian Centre is full of native and introduced trees, and there are many pleasant walks around the property where you can pick yourself a bouquet of native flowers depending on the season. We request that a no smoking policy be adhered to when inside the apartments. Outside you can sit in the relaxation areas on the furniture provided to have a drink or simply take in the views and chill out.
