In Hungary, at the Balaton Lake, in the centre of Keszthely and in the neighbourhood of Castle Festetics you can find our Hostel and apartments. It is an ideal accommodation and meeting place for people, who are looking for relaxation and an informal atmosphere.
In our hostel part we have 2 and 3 bed private-rooms and 5-6-10 bed mixed dormitories (partly with bunk-beds). In the small lounge and in the common room you can watch TV, or spend time with other Guests. We have no kitchen to dormitories. There are only a microwave, kettle, fridge and dishes for free use. (We only have kitchen in the apartments.) In the big garden (1500 m²), there is a parking area and a possibility to grill.
Apartments:
In the new part of the hostel, we have 2 studio-apartments, and 1 two room apartment.
The studio apartment has a small kitchen (with fridge and microwave), double bed and TV a bathroom with shower.
Its is ideal for 2 persons.
Two-room apartment: 2 rooms (1 bedroom). Living room
with 1 double bed, sitting area and TV. Bedroom with twin beds. Kitchenette in the living room with electric hotplate, refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Its is ideal for 4 persons.
(The price includes: bed linen and final cleaning.
If necessary: towels +1 €/pcs.)
NOTE: We don't have a 24 our reception. It is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Otherwise it might be that you will only find closed doors.

Café:
The upstairs part of our Café is in lounge style. There are comfortable armchairs and sofas, books, magazines, cards, games and Internet access. (Open from May - September)
Directions (how to arrive at the establishment) : If You come by plane:
There is a direct shuttle bus (Flycar) to our Hostel.
If You are travelling by bus/train:
The hostel is a 30 minutes walk away from the train-/bus station. From the station go along the slightly rising 'Mártírok útja' Street (300 m), to the 'Kossuth Lajos' Street. ( 'T' intersection) Turn right here and continue straight on through the Walking Street and through the Castle garden. At the other end of the garden is the 'Sopron' Street (800 m).
You can also choose to call a taxi, which will cost ~1500 HUF. The third possibility is to catch the bus (1,2,4,5,70) till Bástya utca (street). is a 5 minutes walk away from the bus stop. (Go along the „Bastya utca” ~200m, then turn left in the „Sopron utca”. You can find our Hostel after ~20M.)
