• Most people arrive at Playa Venao by car or bus.
• By Car
• The journey by car is approximately 4 – 5 hours from Panama City.
• Coming from the Pan-American Highway, from either direction, take the turnoff at Divisa in the direction of Chitre (south). It’s not extremely well marked, so look out for the overpass spanning the highway — that’s the road to Venao! Continue on the main highway through the towns of Chitre, Las Tablas and Pedasí. It’s about 30 minutes between each. Continue straight down the main road of Pedasí and continue until you see signs for Playa Venao.
• By Bus
• Buses from Panama City to Las Tablas and/or Chitré depart regularly from the Albrook Bus Terminal throughout the day. From Las Tablas there is one direct bus to Eco Venao which leaves around 1pm (see Local Bus Timetable below). This bus leaves from the main square in Las Tablas. There are many other buses in that travel between Las Tablas and Pedasí each with their own stop. Asking a local is the best advice we can give you.
• By Taxi
• It is usually easy to find a taxi from Pedasí, Las Tablas or Chitre directly to Playa Venao.
• By Air
• Flights to Pedasi Airport are Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
