HOMEproject is located in Bucharest's most beautiful and green area, Cotroceni, at a walking distance from the Old Town and the city's main attractions.

The Botanical Garden, Cotroceni Palace Museum or the National Opera are just around the corner, as well as the subway or the bus station.

Old houses, small streets and the most bohemian vibe are Cotroceni's fortes.

* Reception is open 08:30 - 23:00, but we are very flexible, according to your needs

• How to get to HOMEproject
• From the airport (Henri Coanda International Airport, Otopeni) - 19 km
• By taxi (recommended):
• Call a cab using the taxi machine inside the airport. Choose the lowest fair (1,39 or 1,4 lei / km), there's no quality difference between the different fairs. You can also call a taxi company directly - 0219477 - Speed Taxi. The drive should be around 30 lei (6-7 EUR).
• By bus:
• - Option 1:
• Take the 780 bus from the airport station (3,5 lei / ride) to Gara de Nord station (the main railway station), then take the 62, 93 or 96 bus to Pod Cotroceni Station (1,3 lei / ride).
• From Pod Cotroceni there's a 2-3 minute walk to the hostel: cross the bridge (you will see Dambovita River), stay on the left and after an ING Bank and several groceries shops you will see Carol Davila street. Walk for 1 more minute, and on the right you will have the number 93, a big gate - the hostel is the first on the right, with the green door.
• - Option 2:
• Take the 783 bus from the airport station (3,5 lei / ride) to Piata Victoriei station. From Piata Victoriei, take the subway (2 lei / ride) for 6 stations, to Eroilor station.
• From Eroilor subway station there's a 3-4 minutes walk to the hostel. You will have flower sellers on the left, the Municipal Hospital on the right (with a small park in front, you won't see much of the hospital from the street). Stay on the right, pass the hospital and make the first right at the lights. Then you'll see the University of Medicine on the right, a beautiful and big building. Make a right after the University, on Carol Davila street. The hostel will be on the left, at number 93, with a big gate - the hostel is the first on the right, with the green door.
• From the railway station (Gara de Nord) - 2,8 km
• By taxi (recommended):
• Call a cab - 0219477 - Speed Taxi, 1,39 lei/km, a trustworthy company - or take a taxi in front of the railway station. Be careful to choose a taxi that has the price written on the door - 1,39 or 1,4 lei / km. There are a lot of taxi drivers that can overprice you if you're not careful.
• By bus:
• Take the 62, 93 or 96 bus to Pod Cotroceni Station (1,3 lei / ride).

• Important!
• In Bucharest you cannot buy individual tickets for the bus, you need to buy a card which you can charge with the amount you wish. For the metro you buy the tickets straight from the station.
• The buses and metros usually travel until 22:00 - 22:30 each day.
