The hostel is located on the 2nd floor right above the legendary rebellious Chomsky Bar hideout which dares you to question everything. The people running this place believe in Noam Chomsky's philosophy and consider cheap booze at the bar a basic human right.
Accommodation in the center of the city; 10 min walking distance from the central station. Situated in the oldest building in the block built sometime in the end of 1800s. The hostel finds itself in a small 3-room used-to-be living apartment which provides lots of privacy and a sense of feel-at-home.
The premises are freshly renovated and the interior was done by two rising stars of the Latvian arts scene both of whom you can occasionally meet downstairs behind the bar. The bar itself with its rough edged look and quality prices bring in a fair mix of the more artistic and open minded side of society.
Location on the corner of Lāčplēša and Avotu streets is the new hotspot for local bohemia. The neighborhood is still authentic and off the beaten path of the common tourist crowd, while still being in the center of the city.
