Location

• **TAXI's are cheap in Plovdiv. You can take a cab. The cab fare from the main bus/train station to TheCrib is about 3 -4Leva (1,5 - 2 eur), but be careful - the ones around the stations tend to overcharge. So arranging the price before entering the car is highly advised to avoid this**
• -We also offer to MEET YOU at your arrival point, and walk you to the hostel, if you write to inform us a day in advance, but we keep the right to decline by reply in peak season if we are too busy at the moment.
• If You`re FLYING to the AIRPORT - the taxi fare to TheCrib should not be higher than 10eur = 20leva .. If you contact us when you arrive there, we can send a secure taxi in about 10min. In the other case - make sure the fare is determined before you enter the car. Start the bargain with 8eur ;)
• ***DETAILED DIRECTIONS for the shortest route from THE STATIONS***
• (You might notice that the routes are not through the central pedestrian street, that is to avoid delays while walking, but no worries once you reach TheCrib you`re 200 meters away from the central core in the middle of the pedestrian street and the entrance of TheOldTown)
• BY FOOT, if you prefer walking, since Plovdiv is not too stretched, you`ll get to TheCrib in 15-25 min, depending on your orientation skills when walking with a backpack in a new city.
• If you arrived on the South BUS STATION (Avtogara Yug) which is also refered as The Main Bus Station, turn right on the blvd, exiting the main entrance. After 50 meters you will get to the area where the 3 big transit blvd`s are connected by a ROUNDABOUT. On the first streetlights make a right turn again. The roundabout is on your left. Walk straight pass the first street that comes on your right and proceed on „Blvd RUSKI“ leaving the roundabout behind. You`ll see a blue street sign for cars indicating the direction to SOFIA, at the beginning of blvd.Ruski. In the middle of the two driving directions of the boulevard there`s a walking zone, if you see it - you`re doing it right! :)
• Walk down the boulevard for about 10min after you leave the roundabout behind. until you see the big red sign ahead - „Hotel Noviz“. Turn right into the street BEFORE reaching the Hotel, on the local bus stop that ends the street you should be heading onto. After passing a smaller crossroad, walking next to an elementary school, you`ll get to a second crossroad, walk straight across it, between a small corner bakery on your left and a small pharmacy on your right and you are on „KIRIL I METODIY STR'', which starts going slightly uphill for 150 meters. You will get to the third and last crossroad after those 150 meters. Keep walking in a straight direction and the street will start heading downhill. TheCrib is on the bottom of the street, another 150 meters from the last crossroad. You`ll notice a red 4 stories house on your left, with a mini-market on the street level. On the right side of the mini-market is our entrance door - Congratulations! You have reached your destination! :D
• Distance : 1.7km
• Duration : 18-25min.
• **The Bus And The Train Stations Are Located Near Each Other, On The Opposite Sides Of The Roundabout That Connects The 3 Main Transit Boulevards In Plovdiv**
• If traveling by TRAIN, when you get out of the station, take the underpass next to the local bus stop on the boulevard in front. When you exit the underpass, you will come onto a ROUNDABOUT. The beginning of Boulevard RUSKI is north-west from where you exited onto the roundabout. You will see a blue street sign for cars indicating the direction to Sofia at the beginning the blvd ... *Continue with the directions explained for walking from the South Bus Station*

• **If you wish to use the PUBLIC TRANSPORT, even though Plovdiv is not too stretched, but your luggage is heavy or you`re just tired, there are BUSES that can drop you off about 500 meters from TheCrib**
• - When arriving on the South BUS STATION, turn right on the blvd as you`re exiting the station. Cross the boulevard on the first streetlights you run into, in about 30-40 meters walking along the blvd. Turn right and continue walking in that direction until you see the train station on your left and the big local bus stop in front of it... *Continue with the directions explained for using the public transport from the train station*
• - When arriving on the TRAIN STATION* you will see a big bus stop right in front of it. Take the BUS NR. 12 from here. Get out the bus at the THIRD bus stop. During the ride, after the second stop, you will see a park on your left, so as soon as you see this, get ready to jump out at the next stop. That local bus stop is situated directly at the end of the street you should start walking into once you`re out of the bus.

• ***Take a FRIENDLY ADVICE - if more than two people are going for the public transport, they will be spending the same amount the taxi fare is. Also, you can MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOR and even if you`re traveling solo, by talking to another traveler/tourist ASK if they`re possibly going to TheCrib too and save some time and energy and meet a new friend along the way :D
