The area around Davos and Klosters comprises 6 main ski areas (Parsenn/Gotschna, Jakobshorn, Pischahorn, Rinerhorn, Schatzalp and Madrisahorn) with all sorts of slopes: from the half pipe on the Jakobshorn to the carver piste on the Parsenn and from the free-ride area on the Pischa to the kids' slopes on the Madrisa and Rinerhorn. The climatic health spa Davos is the highest-situated city in Europe (1560 metres above sea level). It looks back upon a long tradition in winter sports and features Europe's largest natural ice rink. Klosters is a typical mountain village with charming chalets.
