• [Taxi] : Cost around £7. (Journey time around 10 minutes)
• [Bus] : Cost £1.80 single. £4.50 day ticket. (15 minutes)
• From the coach station, ask for directions for the Scott Monument on Princes Street which is a 5-minute walk. At the Scott Monument, look for the west-bound bus stop for 10, 11, 15, 16. Ask the driver to let you off at Tollcross.
• At Tollcross, ask for GilmorePlace. The Light House is 100 meters along the street - walk past the shops.

• [Skylink 300 Bus] : Total journey 55 minutes. Cost £4.50. (50 minutes)
• Ask the driver to let you off at the stop called 'Tollcross/Lauriston Place'. Hostel is 5 minutes walk.
• [Tram] : Total journey around 50 minutes. Cost £6.50 single, £9.00 Return. (30 minutes tram time) Get off at Princes Street;
• then take a west-bound Bus 10, 11, 15, 16 to Tollcross (10 minutes, £1.80).
• [Airlink 100 Bus] : Total journey around 50 minutes. Cost £4.50 single, £7.50 Return. (30 minutes bus time) Ask the driver to let you off at the West End (Shandwick Place), then cross the road and walk to Lothian Road, where you can:
• take a taxi from outside Caledonian Hotel to the Hostel (5 minutes, £5);
• or take a Bus 10, 11, 15, 16 to Tollcross (10 minutes, £1.80);
• or walk to the Hostel (15 minutes).
