White Nest Hostel - Granada Reviews

Description

White Nest… A sanctuary from the traveling life!

White Nest is a very clean, spacious and funky place. Nice common area, free walking tour every day atn 11 am, hostel activites like tapas tours and mojito parties etc every weekend, waterfall trips and much more. We are located in the Albaicin, the old part of the city, with so much nearby, especially the Alhambra. Very close to the cheap shopping areas, tapas bars and 200 meters from an awesome Flamenco bar!

Our spacious dorms are clean, colourful, and very pleasant. All rooms have marble tiles and under floor heating system. Our great showers and comfy beds will help you feel like at home!

The kitchen is always clean, and there´s free tea, coffee, olive oil, pasta, rice and spices so you can cook up a storm with us!

You really feel like a flash packer when you stay here! The building itself is lovely – a traditional XVII Century Andalusian mansion. We make an extra effort to make sure that the security in our hostel is top-notch, we know how important it is for you.

Breakfast is not included but we do have complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits plus cereals. We are also 10 meters distance from a traditional tapas bar where you can have cheap and tasty breakfast from 3€.

We speak English, Spanish, French and Italian so we are able and happy to provide you all the necessary information you will need to make your stay in Granada unforgettable.

We offer accommodation in private rooms and shared dorms, bathrooms located on every floor.

We are recommended by several International Youth Travel & Student Agencies...

Join us and enjoy your stay!

Location and Contact

Location

• White Nest Hostel is located on Calle Santisimo #4. We are a 10 minute walk from Plaza Nueva in the city center. From Plaza Nueva you have to take the street Carrera del Darro. The path is narrow, running alongside the river and his cobblestones. Our street is left off Carrera del Darro. When you arrive at our street you'll see a sign on the upper part of the wall that says White Nest Hostel.
• From the bus station:
• Take bus line SN1(Light Green) and get off at the 5th stop. Here you will change buses to bus line LAC(Dark Green). You may reuse the ticket for the next bus free if it is less than 60 minutes. Bus Line LAC will take you through the main street Gran via de Colón. The last bus stop on this street is where you need to get off; you will be right next to the cathedral.
• From the train station:
• Upon exiting the train station terminal, the only street leading towards and away from the train station is Street Faisán. Walk up this street and you will reach Avenida del Sur. Turn right and there will be a bus stop where you will take bus line LAC. Bus Line LAC will take you through the main street Gran via de Colón. The last bus stop on this street is where you need to get off; you will be right next to the cathedral.
• From this point follow the walking directions below.
• Walking from 'Gran Via 1' bus stop to White Nest hostel, Calle Santisimo 4:
• Cross the street (Gran Via de Colon) and head right until you get to the corner where Gran Via meets Reyes Catolicos facing the big Statue of Columbus and Isabel. Turn left and after about 50m you’ll reach Plaza Nueva. Once there, head straight (passing by the fountain on your left hand side). From the end of the square take the street along the river called Carrera del Darro. Follow it until you see San Pedro y San Pablo church on your right. You?ll find Calle Sant?simo about 20 meters further up the road, on your left.
• If you prefer to take a taxi from the train or the bus station to our Hostel on Calle Santisimo 4, in both cases it will take you about 10 minutes and it will cost you around 8 euros.
• By car:
• The hostel is in the old town which makes parking quite difficult. Consider leaving your vehicle at Plaza de Campos car park in the city center and walking to the hostel (about 15 min). However, if you prefer to access the hostel by car, the best option would be to take Carrerra del Darro, find a place to stop and drop off your bags then carry on until the end of the street and turn to the left. The majority of this area is free to park on the street, the best place to look is Carretera de Murcia.
• From Granada Airport, you can take a bus no 245 leaving just outside the terminal, which takes you to to Gran via stop 1, from there you can follow the walking directions above.
