• There are buses from companies such as COT or COPSA with destination to the Bus Terminal in Punta del Este or the one in Maldonado. The trip takes approximately 2 hours. If you need to check timetables: www.cot.com.uy and www.copsa.com.uy
• From the Bus Terminal in Punta del Este, check By bus
• From the Punta del Este (Laguna del Sauce) International Airport
• There is a shuttle bus which takes you to the Bus Terminal in Punta del Este. You can request information about it at the Information Desk at the Airport.

• From Bus Terminal Punta del Este and/or Maldonado
• There is a bus from CODESA every 15 minutes which take you to La Barra.
• You could check itineraries and timetables: www.codesa.com.uy.
• The trip takes about 10 minutes. After crossing the ondulated bridge Lionel Viera, you have to go off the bus at the first bus stop and walk one block ahead up to 8th Street and then you turn left and you will see the Hostel at 50 mts from the route.
• Another option is to take a van(brown) from the Bus Terminal in Punta del Este which runs every 15 minutes between Punta del Este to Manantiales passing through La Barra and you can go off at any place you wish.
• By car:
• From Montevideo
• Take the RUTA INTERBALNEARIA towards East (signs will say AL ESTE).
• It's approximately one hour and a half drive. Once you get to Punta del Este, follow the beach boardwalk along Playa Mansa, then Playa Brava.
• It's a 20 km drive (15 minutes) up to the ondulated bridge in La Barra and continue on the route for 5 more blocks until you reach 8th Street (before the ANCAP gas station) and turn left , then you will find the hostel on the left hand side, 50 mts away from the route.
