Get to know New York City (no more

New York is the city that never sleeps and is one of the most exciting cities in the world. It consists of five boroughs: Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.

The most central and convenient location for hostels in New York is Manhattan where most of the major attractions are located. Be aware that hostels might be quite expensive here; if you are on a budget it might be reasonable to look for a hostel in one of the other boroughs.

Manhattan itself offers a wide variety of attractions and neighborhoods, including the hip district of Greenwich Village, the posh Upper East Side, the eclectic Chinatown, or the impressive Financial District. You can pretty much stay at any New York hostel since getting around is not a problem thanks to the comprehensive subway and public transport system. Just make sure that you always check the final destination when taking the metro and be aware that some of the trains are express trains and might not stop at your destination.

When booking your NYC hostel consider spending at least a few days or longer in this amazing city; go shopping and dining, experience a Broadway show, enjoy a sunny day in Central Park, and check out some of the impressive art museums.
