Extremely happy! Awesome place -- huge rooms with huge double beds and great linens and towels. awesome free breakfast including croissants, milk, orange juice and fruit juice, crackers, tea, coffee, cookies, cappuccino and lattes (from a machine). the lady at the front door is extremely nice, and this is literally as good as it gets as far as location on the island.

This is a wonderful example of a real Venetian room, with wonderful high ceilings and damask-hung walls. It's altogether to be recommended. It is very well located, and its canal view, while restricted, is fine. Be aware, however, that there are 41 stone steps to drag your luggage up, so this is very difficult for the disabled. The bathrooms are small. Also be aware that breakfast is in a nearby hotel. But don't let this put you off. We had a good stay and Christina is lovely.

This place is not what the ad says it is. Check it out.
