I visited St John's Waterfront in November-December 2004, and I found the place very friendly very clean and very accommodating. The rooms are very spacious and the staff there are helpful. Iris, Fred, Garry and Gladys really made me feel welcome, so much so that I am visiting Cape Town again in January 2006 and I'll be stopping there to meet up with them again. I recommend you stay there. It's only a 10-minute walk from the V&A waterfront, 2 minutes from the main Greenpoint/Seapoint Rd. and Camps Bay and Clifton beaches can be reached from the abundance of local taxis passing by all day on that road. Stay there, you won't be disappointed.
