After traveling around Ireland and staying in various hostels, Harbour House was a sight for sore eyes, if you will, and the best hostel I stayed at during the trip. The staff were attentive and very helpful, willing to answer any questions I may have had. Even though it is a little ways from the city center, it was fun exploring the town Sligo when I walked to town. I highly recommend this location and plan on visiting again!"

Located just near the railway station and main road through town, you'll be somewhat away from the buzz of the town, but the hostel will do fine as a place to put up your feet while you're passing through.
The live-in owner is a seasoned backpacker and will kindly offer all the helpful information you might need. From the outside it doesn't look that nice. but it is clean, the staff is friendly. I shared a six-bedroom with girls only. we had a new bathroom. the kitchen and the living room are not that new but also very clean. and the price for all that is just great. i will come back for sure!"

Facilities include a large kitchen which includes a oven, microwave, stove tops, and a lot of bench space. There is a large dining area and a small cosy TV room (this closes at midnight).
