Paris is beautiful year-round but it also has many events at different periods. If one of them tickles your fancy, you should make sure to time your visit well so you can check it out. For example, the Christmas Markets will get you in a festive mood, and for sports fanatics, the Tour De France should not be missed.

In terms of getting around, Paris makes it easy, with a metro going to the majority of places you’d want to visit. There are also bus stops (including cheap intercity buses) and train stations and Eurostar to make arriving a breeze and to assist you in getting to your next destination. You can even rent a bike or walk the gorgeous history-filled streets.
