I liked it here. I stayed over the summer and already know that when I grow up I will live there. — AmyI visited Chartres in October 2006. I'm returning April 2009 because Chartres made me feel so peaceful and comfortable. It was a day trip from Paris, so I didn't stay overnight, but the peacefulness was wonderful. That's why I'm staying longer this time. Just walk around and enjoy the town, after you've seen the magnificent cathedral. — Linda
