Avignon Ostellos(Ile de la Barthelasse)     "Bagatelle is a hostel, campground, and a hotel. It includes a restaurant, cafeteria, and an expensive supermarket. The hostel itself is located in a building to the right after entering the Bagatelle ground. The reception for the hostel is in the cafeteria which is straight ahead when you enter Bagatelle. The location is great -- situated on the Ile de Piot, just across the big bridge, it is away from traffic and noise.
The rooms are basic and do not expect them to be too clean. Dorms...  "The YMCA - UCDJ hostel is located in Villeneuve-les-Avignon, over the river from Avignon. It is about a twenty-minute walk from Avignon centre. To get to the hostel from the train station, take bus number 10 and get off at the stop Monteau. At the train station, most of the buses stop just on the inside of the city wall and are hidden out of view. From Monteau stop walk down the hill and turn right at the roundabout.
