"City Sleep-In is located on the harbour front in Denmark's second city, Aarhus. It is a 15 minute walk from the central station or bus station, but a rather confusing and circuitous one. Nevertheless, it is close to the shops along Sondergade and Sankt Clemens Torv. There are numerous student cafes/restaurants/brasseries nearby but no real pubs apart from the generic Irish ones. 105DKK seems reasonable for Denmark, but where they get you is the additional charges such as another 40DKK for hire of sheets, pillows and blankets, 50DKK for a...  more »

"Located in a lovely wooded area just north of the city centre, this hostel provides a clean safe place to rest for the night. Admittedly there is not much going on around the hostel itself, but town is only a short bus ride away (get the #1, 6, or 9). Alternatively, you can walk the few hundred metres to the sea and rent a bike for 20 krone (about two GBP), cycle into town in 10 minutes, and then drop the bike off there rather like a supermarket trolley.
