Český Krumlov Ostellos    "Staying at the Ryba is like staying with your hip auntie. The owner, Jalka, is very friendly and her efforts to communicate and make you feel comfortable override her difficulty with the English language. If you're a dog lover, you'll have fun pampering her aging but sweet dog. We felt perfectly at home here.
The location is perfect, right on the shore of the Vltava River and just a...  "A truly great hostel. A small house on the outskirts of the old town (but only a 5 minute walk of the center of town), and about 10 minutes from the bus station. It's not a party house, as there are only about 40 beds in two big sleeping rooms. It's the kind of place where you'll probably meet just about everyone staying in the hostel. The interior is beautifully painted and features a... "Hostel 99 is a great hostel situated right in the old walls of the medieval city of Cesky Krumlov. The building is in very good condition, and is colorful, warm, and friendly. The staff is also friendly and kind. The room we stayed in was not in the main building, but is also in the old walls, and very nice, although the bathroom there is less than stellar -- institutional at best.
The... "Cesky Kromlov is a fantastic place, and Hostel Merlin is a fantastic hostel. The only thing I could complain about would be that it is a little cramped, but in this place I'd call it cosy. The rooms are very well kept and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The beds are reasonable -- and they're separate beds rather than bunks, which is a good bonus.

It's rare to find a fun hostel that's also a really nice place to stay, but this one is both. It has spacious rooms with big lockers, a kitchen, balcony, satellite TV, game room with pooltable, a big common area with a bar, and decent bathrooms. "The Hostel Havana has a great position on the Vlatva River with a garden area out the front but unfortunately the building is lacking in the maintenance one would expect.
The hostel is about two kilometers from the bus station down the hill and to the left before the bridge, but it is easier to get a taxi from the bus station or the gas station nearby. The atmosphere here is more home than hostel, with lots of personal attention from Skippy, the Czech-Cubana resident owner who is also a musician, and you'll undoubtedly receive invitations to see her perform locally during your stay.
The best feature of the hostel is the roomy riverfront...Hostel Egon is by the Vltava river bank on the site, where the famous expressionist Egon Schiele painted his Krumlov houses. It is situated in an old mysterious building, exactly like those on his oil paintings, not far from the city centre.
It is only a small house, offering two four bed dorms and one 3bed private room, a great breakfast terrace and garden terrace with BBQ above the...  "They offer a double room plus a 10 bed dorm. The place was good and the people friendly, even if they didn't speak english very well. The town is *very* small, so the hostel is close to everything.
