Rarotonga Ostellos(Arorangi)     "Rarotonga Backpackers is a new hostel. It is located on the southwest side on the inland road. The dorms and facilities are great, with an equipped kitchen and a lounge that has a TV, VCR, stereo (but no speakers), and a ping pong table and laundry.
It's a 5 minute walk to the beach, a 10 minute walk to a small grocery shop. Since the place isn't directly on the beach and is a bit on...(Avarua)  "Priced at about average for the island, Backpackers International Hostel is out of town but is serviced by the local bus and with a very short walk to the beach and a convenience/liquor store.
It's a friendly and informative hostel that caters very well to backpacker needs. There are plenty of activities organised both at the hostel and outside. They have a shuttle bus to take you around,...(Muri Beach)  "Vara's is a great place to end your world trip, its amazing, sand is so white, the sea is so blue. Vara is clean, right on the beach, has small dorms and apartments on suite if you want to be on your own. The hostel's manager, Ronnie, does pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport, but is not entirely reliable, especially after a long night at one of the many pub-sponsored backpacker nights in Avura.
