"The SYHA-affiliated youth hostel is an island of calm among the busy life in the Sport and Ferien Center in Fiesch. The Center itself is a huge holiday factory for young people coming in large organised groups. Sport and Ferien Center has several large buildings and has capacity to accommodate up to 1000 people -- about the same population as the village Fiesch itself (947 habitants).
