Antwerp Ostellos   "Den Heksenketel Hostel is in a great location. It's right by Groen Plaats, and very easy to get to from the train station by either tram or underground. The area is very nice -- the cathedral is right there, and there are lots of cafes, restaurants, and bars.
The hostel itself is full of character. There is a cosy bar on the ground floor, which was shut the night that we were there, but It...(City Centre)  "New International Youth Hostel is located in a relatively quiet residential area within about fifteen minutes' easy walking distance to Antwerp's main train station.
The Location
The hostel is located on a main street making it easy to find and is very close to a large supermarket and many patisseries. The area feels comfortable and safe. The hostel does not have a curfew though entry...Welcome! ... from backpackers for backpackers

ABhostel moved to an old chocolate praline factory.Converted into a trendy, cosy, clean, cheap hostel.
You will experience the typical, homely and bourgondian Antwerp...  "Although it may seem a little frightening, it is far from it! I will say that my first impression was not that great, but it could have been the fatigue from the 9-hour train ride prior to arriving. Anyhow, the people that run it are great and absolutely two of the friendliest people I'd met throughout my trip. If there is nothing to do (which is not often in this town full of bars and clubs)... The hostel is set within an exciting ethnic neighborhood nearby the central train station (diamond district, zoo) within a fifteen-minute walk or a quick city tram ride. The place is located along major rail transit lines and the hostel reception can set travelers up with a bus pass (one pays the... "I guess I didn't really stay in the hostel, but in its sister bed-and-breakfast, because the hostel was full, even though I had reserved a room in advance. But in the end, it didn't cost me extra, so I'm not complaining. The staff were nice, and the location was awesome.
