"Kalbarri Backpackers YHA is a typical YHA. The standard is high and all facilities work. It is almost in the centre of town and clearly signposted. If you happen to be traveling by Greyhound bus you are very lucky, as the shuttle drops you right at the front door of the place. The hostel looks good from the outside and the inside does not disappoint either. The staff are helpful and explain where everything is for you. Ride a horse at The Big River Ranch. I rode Soldier. My middle brother Brendon learnt how to ride in a second, their horses are second to none. The River crossing is a few hundred metres, we spotted a Kangaroo on the river bank. I've only ever ridden horses 4 times in my adult life and I easily managed to use a video camera at a canter.
