"One of the best! - I and my teenage children had a seven-week odyssey to Down Under during late Spring and Summer 2006. Our very first hostel was here, which I had reserved for one night only upon our arrival. We had flown New Zealand Air from L.A. to Auckland to Melbourne, then took the Skybus to downtown Melbourne. There, we caught another bus out to Phillip Island, arriving in darkness.
