South Australia Comments

Isola dei Canguri is located in southern Australia and it is the third largest island in the country. It is an amazing natural wonder of Australia that is well worth the visit and will get you in touch with Australia’s unique flora, fauna, and the locals that are passionate about preserving it.
I highly recommend Adelaide Zoo! It isn't that far a walk. Plus the gardens are beautiful! The Circle Bus lines come in handy and make traveling around the city affordable (since it's free), especially if your feet are sore. The tram to Glenelg is right in the centre of the city and worth a ride. There is plenty to see and do if you put in an effort and there is a great information centre in the city so you can plan your trips.
When you're in Adelaide, do visit the Adelaide Hills -- really nice scenery and free wine tasting.
I am from Mount Gambier and think it's one of the most beautiful places I've lived. It's humble and a place to relax and take in all the amazing scenery. So close to the sea, the vineyards, and the marvels of the volcanoes.
I want to live here one day soon -- it's safer than the bigger cities and has lovely scenery. The museum and library are free and there is a free city tram and city circuit bus. The people may not be as outgoing and talkative as in Melbourne, but the backpacking is great as everyone is so laid back. The travelers you meet come to Adelaide to relax and chill out so you make heaps of friends there too.
Sandy Creek Conservation Park is not accessible to the Barossa Valley Wineries if you don't have a car.
