Archie's House is an decent alternative accommodation in the lovely city of Venice. It's in a good location, close to supermarkets, restaurants and the like. Archie's House, is as its name suggests, Archies house. Archie is the owner, and has set up his house for people to stay in! Archie speaks about 11 languages fluently, and is always at University, he also has a PHD in History.
Archie's house is a cheap place to stay, in a very expensive city. It is a small place, and you will make many friends. There isn't a good communal area to spend your time, but in a city like Venice, you shouldn't be inside anyway.
The dorm rooms are clean and very big, lockers are provided, and seem ok. The dorm rooms are lockable. The bathroom is a little dirty and showers cost to use them. Make sure you have a sleeping sheet or bag, cause linen costs to hire.
A table tennis table is downstairs, which is fun, and there is also free internet provided, which is great! Archie's House was a lot of fun and a great, cheap place to stay!
