A nice place off the main roads. This hostel is quite convenient, about a 5-minute walk to the main train station. There is a nice outdoor garden/courtyard for people to eat in, hang out, or play oversized chess. No smoking is allowed indoors. There are many guided trips that leave from this hostel, and the owners are nice enough to offer information. Internet is available. This place seems big, so there is always plenty of room, especially in the separate, large dorm (about 75 beds). The rooms are well kept, and segregated for boys and girls.
Although this is a private hostel, the rooms and layout seem very standard (like an HI hostel). The small dorms are very small, with bunks and lockers. Keys to the rooms are provided and there is 24 hour reception. Breakfast is offered, but is simply rolls and coffee. The kitchen, albeit small (room for 2 people at a time), is available with a miniature refrigerator. There is a supermarket nearby. The hostel offers a lovely outdoor garden and grille. The owners kick people out of the garden at 10pm in order to not disturb the neighbors, though everyone goes back outside half an hour later. Expect to meet people at this hostel. It can be crowded at times, especially for the shower in the morning.
