Accommodation at the 4 star Snowdon Lodge from only £12.50 per night including a light breakfast
Whilst retaining lots of the original features, Snowdon Lodge has recently been extensively renovated to provide the ultimate in clean, comfortable and secure accommodation for backpackers.
Snowdon Lodge is perfectly situated close to both the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia and the beautiful sandy beaches and coves of the Llyn Peninsula. We are in our own grounds adjoining woodlands and fields. Yet only 2 mins walk to the pubs and shops of Tremadog & Porthmadog.
We welcome both the traveler who wants to just chill out in comfort for a few days, or those who want to participate in the widest choice of activities available.
Whether it is trekking up Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales, climbing on the nearby Tremadog Rocks, exploring the rocky coves of Borth-Y-Gest, or lazing on the beach at Black Rock Sands, everything is close, whether you are walking, driving or using public transport.
Nearby is the famous Portmeirion Italianate village, the castles of Harlech and Criccieth, and the Ffestiniog And Welsh Highland narrow gauge railways.
Our staff will be happy to organise guides to take you walking, climbing gorge traversing etc, etc, and tell you how to get to centres offering white water rafting and canoeing, mountain bike hire, dry slope skiing, horse riding, golf and full courses check out our activities page for 50 plus things to do from Snowdon Lodge.

Private, twin, double and 4 poster bedrooms are available
The house is heated, with wash basins in most rooms
Fully Licensed Bar, Plenty of powerful hot showers and toilets
Secure lockers beside every bed, and use of a safe and baggage storage areas
Large dining room and fully equipped kitchen
Full breakfasts, evening meals and packed lunches available
Lounge/ TV room, with log fires in winter
Payphone and Internet connection and drying room
Mountain bike, canoe and surf board secure storage
