Ravnice Youth Hostel is bright, clean, and friendly.

The Location

The hostel is located outside the main city center of Zagreb. Once you've navigated Zagreb's impossible streets (many one-ways and with street names that don't match the ones on the map), this hostel is an oasis of calm. Once you arrive, there is plenty of free parking, and a direct bus into the city center picks you up in front of the hostel.

Rooms and Bathrooms

The rooms are bright, spacious, and clean. The private en-suites are worth the extra money. Overall, this hostel is spotlessly clean. Best of all, due to the close proximity of Zagreb's candy factory, it is wonderfully candy-scented in the morning!

Common Spaces

There is a common internet space (but it's not free), a common kitchen, and a nice seating area. This is definitely not a party hostel -- more of a communal, fun living space. Travelers of all ages stay here.

Summary

There is a dearth of affordable, fun places to stay in Zagreb. This is the best of the bunch. We recommend.
